STARTS
Carson Wentz Titans @ Colts
You know the NFL is a fickle beast and with the Titans riding high after crushing the Chiefs in Nashville, they are going to be served with a real dogfight this week in Indianapolis. Wentz played with true grit whilst up against quite possibly the worst weather to play the quarterback position in, torrential rain. Ok he had the horrible fumbleception but he threw two touchdowns, rushed for another and scored 20+ points even with the lost air yards he had on PI calls! Carson is playing with real heart and I see this being a high scoring affair so put him in yo’ lineups!
Trevor Lawrence Jaguars @ Seahawks
The Jags will be coming off their bye week fresh from their first win under first year head coach Urban Meyer. They’re going to be pumped up, rested, and after watching the Seahawks stink it up on MNF they should have real optimism to grab their second win on the bounce. Geno Smith is gonna continue to struggle, meaning the Jags should dominate time of possession and I see the number 1 overall pick capitalizing on this glorious opportunity. This is going to be his best fantasy performance to date, plug him in people!
Kirk Cousins Cowboys @ Vikings
This has the real makings of a great game, a perfect way to round out a day of football. Both teams are coming off byes and they are gonna come out swinging for the fences. You know the Cowboys are going to put up points, and Captain Kirk will be tasked with keeping the Vikings in it. Cousins owners should feel super confident firing up the man in Minnesota, look for 300yds plus and at least two tuddies.
SITS
Tua Tagovailoa Dolphins @ Bills
The hottest topic in the NFL right now is the subject of the Dolphins QB position and unfortunately for Tua he faces the defense giving up the fewest points to the quarterback position, a mere two days before the trade deadline. He just threw two picks against the Falcons, and this Buffalo defense is going to be well rested and ready to squish some fish. Tua is not a viable option for your fantasy teams this week.
Teddy Bridgewater Football Team @ Broncos
Whilst this might look like a great matchup on paper with the Washington defense massively underperforming this season, I feel like this is going to be the week they dominate. Teddy came close to being benched in Cleveland last week and struggling with injury, he appears to be really immobile. The star studded D-line in the nation’s capital is going to get home repeatedly as Teddy won’t have the legs to get away, bench the Bronco as it’s doom in Denver.
Daniel Jones Giants @ Chiefs
The man just isn’t going to have any weapons as the list of New York offensive talent on the injury report seems to have no end. The other thing about this matchup is the fact the Chiefs are going to be out for blood and the Giants are the perfect victim. KC needs a statement win with a solid defensive performance and with Jones having no supporting acts he’ll be forced into mistakes whilst chasing points. This is the real definition of fool’s gold so stay away people!
